well if you look slightly right you can see another building, its got a hole in it

and after a page of arguing you finally decided to say you cant even see the plane

when you said 'yer the plane looks close to it''

u know its gay anyways...wtc 1 was hit first and the plane smashed up against the core...damaging some of it...but most f it was intact. the second plane did a glancing blow and missed the core and most of the fuel fly out of the building. but wtc2 fell first...

uh, no.
without a doubt the buidings had their own staff.
and its pretty safe to say that they have a union to deal with the state run authority that was responsible for the wtc.
you are not going to bring in 20-50 new guys even to clean the crappers without raising a stink with the union.
i guess i can forgive you for not thinking of these things since you are a down home double wide kind of guy and probably have never worked in a building over 5 stories tall.

The building in Madrid wasn't made out of steel moron.

This moron has been raving about the WTC for three pages...

It is amusing that he slates another poster for not knowing how the WTC towers were constructed and then goes on to prove by his arguments that he knows absolutely nothing about it himself.
The fact is that the WTC buildings were brought down by a combination of structural damage, fire damage, inadequate fire-proofing of key internal support structures (ie. the trusses supporting each individual floor) and gravity. Wherever you got the idea that the "official" cause of the collapse was simply due to "fire" I do not know.

Luckily those of us actually living in the real world can realise that it is never as simple as that.

Indeed, I think geoff should perhaps get reading some informed engineers' opinions on the WTC collapses before he inundates these boards with shit he has absorbed from "OMG CONSPIRACY" websites.

Had some good conversations with my dad on this subject in fact, and considering he's a prominent civil engineer in the UK and was in fact one of the first people called to give interviews and statements on the WTC situation, I got some pretty informed views

Wasn't it the temperature of the WTF fires that caused the steel to buckle? The jet fuel burnt hotter and more violently then any "typical" fire would... Therefore, a building that is just on fire, like in Madrid, isn't likely to collapse (due to building codes and standard fire protection protocols).

no dumbo, jet fuel burns relative cool...its still a hydrocarbon so it doesn't burn hot enuff to melt steel...
a defining attribute of a government is that it has a monopoly on the legitimate exercise of violence...
