Walking Dead S03

Post by Eraser »

Season 3 of Walking Dead permieres on october 14th on AMC.

There's a trailer for season 3:
Warning though, it's kind of spoilerific on the sword-wielding-pet-zombie-owning-ninja type at the end of season 2. And with spoilerific, I mean hugely disappointing. It's a shame, but I can't wait for S03 nonetheless. I loved S02, although I understand the critics weren't too favorable about it?

Episode 1 was aired last Sunday. I think the number of zombie kills in that episode alone is greater than the number of zombies killed in the first two seasons combined.

A good thing, surely.
As long as they cut back heavily on the unconvincing drama and dial up the violence... things are not hopeless. Will download tonight.

Not a bad episode, but what's with this tension between Rick and Laurie now? I thought all that silly shit was worked out?

And GODDAMN it was obvious that that one zombie wasn't dead.

Rick appears to have bittered up if you ask me. Probably due to his little teta a tete with Shawn in the previous season.

Rule #1 for the zombie apocolypse: If there's less than 5 minutes left in the episode, don't walk over a zombie when it can be easily avoided.

the whole series is obvious, and that's what i don't like about it. The show is a cross between lizard lick towing and days of our lives. just a redneck soap opera that is extremely slow and way too easy to figure out. i mean this is like lvl 1 crossword puzzle stuff.
The real mystery, how this even started, is thrown to the wayside and we're left with this bullshit drama.

Funny that you mention it. I've just finished episode 2 of the game and it's pretty intense. Never before has a videogame succeeded in making me feel emotionally attached to characters or have decisions I had to make have such emotional impact.

People may write it off as being nothing but quicktime events (and honestly, that's about as far as the gameplay goes) but when approaching this as an interactive movie, it's done inredibly well.

Oh and season 2 of the TV series also has a farm with a barn with a secret in it, but it's a different secret. The secret in the game is far more disturbing and sickening than the TV series. Not sure which of these is more faithful to the comics though.

So what's so sickening about the barn in the game? Is it where go0f keeps his kids?

In the nude? That's no so bad. If you would have said "in a clown costume" I would have run away screaming.

Watched s03e01 yesterday, looks like they listened to the fans, i'm pleasantly surprised!

Mr sheriff dude is kicking ass and being incredibly dark and bitter, which is a lot better than the nonsensical drama that was forced upon us last season, and a lot more faithful to the comics. Lori is reduced to a highly annoying character that nobody takes seriously anymore and has "i'm going to die horribly" written all over her, that is also good. I hope her baby dies and eats her from inside, that would be ace. Now if they can only find something to do for the black guy they're all set.

Anyway, i have a little hope for this series again, huzzah.
