Lol @ Fox acting like they're not part of the mainstream media. :olo:

There's a perfect example of their deliberate stupidity in that link:
Not according to the transcript, which had Obama only speaking generically about how “no acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this nation,” not assigning that label to the violence in Benghazi.

Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2012/11/ ... z2BdEtRTOg
Just because Obama didn't say "THE ATTACK IN BENGHAZI WAS A TERRORIST ACT", the fucktard author of that article (along with every Fox Noise viewer) starts saying "OMG! OSAMA DONE LIED! LYNCH THE NIGGER!".

Seriously, if you assholes are too stupid to understand what the words "implied" and "implication" mean, YOU'RE TOO FUCKING DUMB TO VOTE. Of course the funniest part of that whole article is Fox playing the victim card for Romney over "unfair" coverage of Romney's mistakes and blatant lies by the other networks. Yeah, because Obeezy gets a fair shake on Fox, right? :olo:

"Dear Red States:

We're ticked off at your Neanderthal attitudes and politics and we've decided we're leaving. "Legitimate rape." Sheesh!

We in New York intend to form our own country and we're taking the other Blue States with us.

In case you aren't aware that includes California, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois and the rest of the Northeast.

We believe this split will be beneficial to the nation and especially to the people of the new country of The Enlightened States of America (E.S.A).

To sum up briefly:

You get Texas, Oklahoma and all the slave states.

We get stem cell research and the best beaches.

We get Andrew Cuomo and Elizabeth Warren. You get Bobby Jindal and Todd Akin.

We get the Statue of Liberty. You get OpryLand.

We get Intel and Microsoft. You get WorldCom.

We get Harvard. You get Ole' Miss.

We get 85 percent of America's venture capital and entrepreneurs.

You get Alabama.

We get two-thirds of the tax revenue. You get to make the red states pay their fair share.

Since our aggregate divorce rate is 22 percent lower than the Christian Coalition's we get a bunch of happy families. You get a bunch of single moms.

Please be aware that the E.S.A. will be pro choice and anti war and we're going to want all our citizens back from Afghanistan at once. If you need people to fight, ask your evangelicals. They have kids they're apparently willing to send to their deaths for no purpose and they don't care if you don't show pictures of their children's caskets coming home.

We wish you success in Afghanistan, and possibly Iran as well, but we're not willing to spend our resources in these sorts of pursuits.

With the Blue States in hand we will have firm control of 80% of the country's fresh water, more than 90% of the pineapple and lettuce, 92% of the nation's fresh fruit, 95% of America's quality wines (you can serve French wines at state dinners) 90% of all cheese, 90 percent of the high tech industry, most of the US low sulfur coal, all living redwoods, sequoias and condors, all the Ivy and Seven Sister schools plus Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Cal Tech and MIT.

With the Red States you will have to cope with 88% of all obese Americans and their projected health care costs, 92% of all US mosquitoes, nearly 100% of the tornadoes, 90% of the hurricanes, 99% of all Southern Baptists, virtually 100% of all televangelists, Rush Limbaugh, Bob Jones University, Clemson and the University of Georgia.

We get Hollywood and Yosemite, thank you.

38% of those in the Red states believe Jonah was actually swallowed by a whale, 62% believe life is sacred unless we're discussing the death penalty or gun laws, 44% say that evolution is only a theory, 53% that Saddam was involved in 9/11 and 61% of you crazy bastards believe you are people with higher morals then we lefties.

We're taking the good weed too. You can have that crap they grow in Mexico.

Sincerely, Your dad...

they mentioned Romney's gaffes, one of which was coming to London and criticising the Olympics; that got quite a bit of coverage here too, mostly along the lines of "who the fuck is this oily douchebag and when is he fucking off back home?"

Yeah, and leave where?
Canada? Australia?
You'd be more taxed there than you would have been if you'd stayed put.

The notion that we're globally fucked apparently has yet to sink in.

While it's a great win for rationality having this guy in power rather than Romney, and all the while not forgetting all the good things he's done [e.g. healthcare reform, net job creation since GFC, saving GM/the automotive industry, DADT, Osama, any other big stuff?], you also can't lose sight of:

o Use of drones and the resulting civilian casualties in places like Pakistan

o Continuation of oppressive post-9/11 policies like warrant-less wiretapping and other such spying on the general citizenry, departments like TSA/DHS, indefinite detention .. all in the name of "national security"

o Failure to follow through on the closing of the Guantanamo Bay detention camp and proper processing of detainees

o Toothless Wall street reform

o Other stuff that I might be forgetting or not aware of

Since when are Harvard and Yale not in the Ivy League?
