I don't consider myself "rich". But this isn't a fake jag.

The traction control system alone will make you cream your jeans.

Yes, I'm sure a traction control system will really appeal to a guy that drives an eleventy-kabillion horsepower Mustang. :olo:

Hey dumbo, I owned a Hyundai AND a kia. Remember the whole got busted with cocaine in my car fiasco? That in a 2003 Tiburon. I loved my Tiburon btw, awesome car and I even owned an Elantra prior to that and loved that too. Kia's are POS.

That's irrelevant to the quality of KIA's.

My friend has an Optima, how many belts have you had to replace? Maybe it's the cold climate but his isn't that old and is in pretty bad shape.

You would need to drive around here to appreciate what our roads do to a sedan. If you get a good one, it'll last awhile if you drive it like an old grandpa.

If you own something cheap... good luck to you. Like I said, come winter time, the plastic bits of the KIA's froze solid causing the plastic parts to break.

The problem here is if you buy a cheap car, your cheap parts become fairly obvious fairly quick.

lol 1000 miles.... jeezus, get back to me once you've put 20,000 on it, the engine isn't even broken in yet.

My spectra had like 65,000 when it started failing like mad. Horrible handling too, got stuck in the parking lot at work after a snowstorm one night.

I suspect you'll be fine in Florida though, where old people go to die.

They pour a fuckton of salt on the road in Quebec, maybe that's why all your shitty cocaine-covered cars are breaking down.

Slow down there banjoe kazooey, it's just the KIA's that broke down. I also don't live in Quebec not that there's any less salt on our roads.

This is my old Sunfire, to give you an idea how pointless a KIA is around here...

Image

That's after a snowfall, and that's a street you see there directly in front of the car. No way a sedan is going through that.

and shit like this

Image

is why our roads are in such horrible condition.

Which is why I now go around in this.

Granted, it's not the greatest Jeep every made but I have to admit. If you're getting a compact SUV, it's pretty damn capable when you encounter some rough trails and off the beaten path which I do for fun. Most SUV's this size only have AWD instead of true 4x4.

All my sedans had their suspensions destroyed by our roads within 2-3 months of owning them. The Jeep is fine, no suspension problems and I've had it over 2 years, not getting a 700$ repair bill every 3 months is nice.
