That's what keeps everything bad out of your structure. Fuck that up and your structures integrity goes from 30 years to 5. Wood rots, mold grows and you get infested with all kinds of bugs. Something you should have been really aware of building anything in a place like Texas.

I was kinda hoping you did nothing and everyone would die from some kind of respiratory infection caused by black mold. But yeah, I'll be fine.

Why would I be angry that you took the completely predictable noob approach to construction? It resulted in a few laughs at your expense. No mad here bro.

When I began cutting a hole for wall unit I discovered the original siding behind hardiplank....siding behind hardi on opposite wall as well. In fact this is the same shit we have though out the interior of much of the house. It's 1" thick and kick ass! So I completely gutted the remaining 3 walls covered in hardie...

I have decided to add 2 new French doors to replace stoopid sliding glass doors from the 70's.... Also got to fix water damaged caused by dipshits not installing any sheathing or wrap whatsoever in front wall...lol?... Project just got a whole lot bigger!!!...ownage...
