Seeing the shadows change so rapidly is surreal to say the least. Crazy shit.

Such a small rock can cause that much damage...that 6 mile rock must have been a global clusterfuck...

6 mile rock would be the end of all of us and almost everything on this earth.

I'd go as far as to say it would probably rip into the mantle deep...

I have so many random things going around in my head right now..

How much of it would be destroyed when it hit our atmosphere?
How high would the wave be if it hit an ocean?
How long would it take the shock wave to travel around the world?
What would happen if it hit Everest?
Could we counteract any wave by getting all of China to jump at once?
Why did I make a cup of coffee...I don't like coffee...
Whose hand is that?

If it's going to kill you, it'll kill you. Stopping won't make a difference

If it happened in the US, there'd be 100-car pileups in every state, widespread looting, religious fanatics setting fire to libraries, and Gramps on his porch picking off 10-yr old kids with his tac'd out shotgun.

Social experiment: drop a meteor on different countries and see how each reacts.

Elaborate your lulz.
Because I don't really get it. The catholic centre getting destroyed is somehow funnier than downtown Slough getting destroyed?

well, if you can unfuck your brain from all the Dutch child porn and bong smoke for a moment, you many recall that Transient's premise contained the ideas of "countries" and "reactions". furthermore, glancing at a map, you may notice that "countries" come in all different sizes. some are really big, like Russia or Canada, while others are really small, like Luxembourg or the Vatican. therefore it would seem obvious to anyone who isn't you that these "countries" would "react" differently dependent on their size, i.e. large countries like Russia or Canada (do you remember me mentioning those places in the previous sentence?) would just shrug it off unless it hit a town or city, while small countries like Luxembourg or the Vatican would be pretty much wiped out; that is to say, the "reaction" (remember that part of the premise?) of the Vatican would be to turn into a smoking hole in the ground. do you see the irony? the "reaction" of the Vatican would be to cease being capable of "reaction" on account of everyone being killed

i hope that cleared everything up for you

I think you're failing to understand, when a fast rock hits a little shithole it's gonna do some justice on a biblical scale.

I'm more confused by the 'injuries', how the fuck do you get 'injured' by a rock that will go through you like a train, also, why does the sky stay ignited in the one clip ?

it's its light reflecting off the vapor trail it creates in its wake... also, most people prolly got injured by tiny fragments that broke off during entree all throughout the surrounding area, and possibly by the main fragment's air pressure blast, that busted out doors, windows, and random objects turned into projectiles etc.
