That's definitely true of Spielberg in recent years, JJ Abrams has always been a big time charlie along with that cunt who re-wrote Prometheus. The pair (or trio) need to fuck off, their moves are like magic tricks without the magic, be like 6th sense without the ghost.

Carrie Fisher says she'll reprise her role of Princess Leia in the new Star Wars Movies:
There have been plenty of rumors about the original Star Wars cast returning for the Disney movies. And now it seems we have a confirmation straight from the Alderaan princess' mouth.

In an interview with Palm Beach Illustrated Carrie Fisher was asked point blank if she was returning to Star Wars and she answered quite frankly.
Disney is going to continue the Star Wars saga, producing movies set to hit theaters starting in 2015. Can you confirm whether you'll reprise the role of Princess Leia?

Yes.

What do you think Princess Leia is like today?

Elderly. She's in an intergalactic old folks' home [laughs]. I just think she would be just like she was before, only slower and less inclined to be up for the big battle.
We all know anything can happen at this point, but that sounds a lot like a pretty solid confirmation.

Shia Labeouf stars as a hap-minded Padawan with a knack for getting into trouble with his Ewok friend from da hood (Eddie Murphy), but between passing his Jedi trials and getting noticed by the hottest girl at Jedi High, he never expected to be suddenly chased by a Sith Lord (Hugo Weaving) while having a joyride with his dad's GMC Landspeeder...

Directed by Michael Bay, runtime 249 minutes.

Most likely: Yep. I bet 1000 posts.
While the news is surely exciting for long-time fans of the original trilogy, the core cast members aren't as young and virile as they were back in the late '70s and early '80s. Fisher is 56 years old, Hamill will be 62 in September, and Ford is already in his 70s....

...It's also unclear whether the original cast members will play an integral role in the film or simply stand in as cameos connecting the new movie to its predecessors. Either way, it seems pretty clear that Disney is trying to make sure that all nostalgia circuits are go for their first entry into this venerable franchise.
An Old Hope

Bring on Jar-Jar!

If they have an actual role to play in the story and are on-screen for more than 30 seconds then that'll be fine with me, but if it's just for a quick walk-on so they can make the tie-in and justify the character's inevitable action figure, I'll throw my drink at the screen.
