seems very cool. will really have good applications for electric cars etc.
FOR SCIENCE!!!
Re: FOR SCIENCE!!!
Yes, only saw the mention of graphene the other day.

FOR SCIENCE, your own brain should be dissected to discover how it's possible for someone to post 17,423 times on an internet message board without once saying anything intelligent
lol, barely have Li-Po batteries been rolled out when something better comes along. surely for electric cars you need fast charge, slow discharge though?fKd wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtM6XJlynkk

Depends how much energy you can store in them I suppose and if they discharge, if you can charge them up and drain them as you please though then why not ?seremtan wrote:FOR SCIENCE, your own brain should be dissected to discover how it's possible for someone to post 17,423 times on an internet message board without once saying anything intelligent

Re: FOR SCIENCE!!!
the fast discharge thing might not be a requirement, but rather a feature. so it can dish out lots of power only when needed. The way it is constructed, looks like it could choose to lift power from one cell strip, or more "cells" simultaneously.seremtan wrote:

Re: FOR SCIENCE!!!
This sounds awesome! But like all the awesome scientific breakthroughs I've seen in recent years, I wonder when it'll be available to the public in a big way?
