The cast doesnt surprise me, they are under strict NDA contracts. Go to YouTube or similar "social" sites and search for anything GoT related and I'll guarantee you there's at least one troll trying to spoil things for other people.

I read that a lot of the crew (+cast) was kept in the dark and didnt know this was coming - those who didnt read the books anyway. A similar tactic used with Empire Strikes Back and Vader's reveal.

I also suspect noone of the cast is foolish enough to break the NDA and risk their part in a popular tv series.

Some comedian spoiled the entire plot on twitter the other day. reddit.com/r/gameofthrones has lots of spoilers but they do an amazing job of keeping them hidden until you want to see it.

It's not like he told everyone Dumbledore died, the only thing that could have made it more obvious is a little sign saying *welcome to the internet*. It's also good seeing someone not give a shit about things being taken out of context, like what happens with Clarkson all the time, taking the rags to courts instead of issuing apologies. The internet has been his residence since leaving mock the week ?, he's wrote a book but other than that his tweets has been the source of media outrage, like the paralympics or thatch's funeral. People who were following shouldve knew better basically and dunno how they can be pissed off after the shit hes said about down syndrome kids and people with limbs missing yet get offended by spoiling their precious show.
