I think my silence says 'nuff said' :]

I'll call it the Get Lucky single with 11 B sides.

Yeah, I've listened to it quite a few times now, and I really can't get into it. It's not Daft Punk enough. :(

Apart from "Get Lucky" their new album is a bit disappointing.

Not "garbage" or "rubbish".
Just a bit disappointing.

k you're right.. most of the songs are of good quality... in a sense that someone with skill put them together... it's just not my thing, and not what I expected from them.

My favorite track is the one where some guy we don't care about spends 10 minutes telling a story about how he got into the biz. It never gets old.

As time goes by you expect things to progress. To get "better".
And then when they don't, in your opinion, you're offended. It doesn't make sense. It's not what was agreed upon.

I get the feeling Daft Punk were a bit tired, maybe a little disgusted by what was expected of them.
So they decided they were just going to crank out some tunes they liked, and take the hate.

What's unfortunate is that I quite like that track aside from the chatter. Audacity took care of that, though.
