And the fucking retards are whooping and laughing at other people's houses being washed away? Too bad that whole bridge didn't crumble underneath the dumb hicks.

Brutal! I've been to Calgary in sept 2010. The Bow river was nothing but a unassuming creek.

Good luck dude

I know right?

Flooding is not a normal occurrence for the Bow river, the problem this year was a lot of snow in the mountains over the winter and rain early this spring in B.C. These areas are flash flooding and no one knows what to do. First responders have been awesome and the military is in the affected areas. However bodies are beginning to wash up :(

Some info and pics here

The fisticuffs going on in the Walmarts/Coscos and other grocery stores over bottled water is a fucking embarrassment. What's so fucked about it is we are not on a boil water advisory, water is still on. The level of retard is astounding

Sorry to say but I'm not surprised...it's Alberta, ffs. The only province in Canada with more selfish douchebags is Quebec.

I hope you guys can rebuild soon.

We had a lot of scary images like that in the south west of France last week, and 3 people died ! My grandfather is in Calgary, but in an upper area, so he should be allright.
