JJ Cale dead

Post by Eraser »

To continue the trend of posting about dead people (or possibly, to make a trend out of it), here's another one.

Blues legend J.J. Cale died in a hospital today as the result of a heart attack. While he kept mostly low profile during his career, he's been a very important figure for the modern blues and country music scene. He's probably most famous through his collaborations with Eric Clapton, who recorded songs of his, most notably "Cocaine".

Be honest.
Did you know of his existence before his death popped up on the ol' newsfeed?

Of course. Wouldn't have posted if I didn't. I expect that some people here will know him.

I'll be honest. First read it here :smirk:

After Midnight & Cocaine, yes I remember.

R.I.P. JJ Cale :tear:
