I was bored so I started building this.
It's a tool that allows you to change the smileys listed in the extension's context menu. You can add different sets of smileys so there's a seperate context submenuitem for each of your favorite forums.

Don't know when and if it'll ever be finished. The interface looks like ass but at the start I didn't really intent to get serious with this, so it's just a quick scribble. Guess Memphis will be happy with this though ;)

no...Think it was Memphis that found this little Extension for Firefox that let you right click and pick the color you wanted to post in, among many other shortcuts. Can't find the thread and not going to try any longer..Eraser is just making a better one...or so he hopes. :icon26:

Nope, the story goes like this
Memphis posted about the BBCode extension for firefox (here).
The extension inserts BBCode into textfields for you, which can be handy when writing a message for a forum.

Now this extension can also insert the code for smileys, and after snooping around a bit, I found the definitions for these smileys in a file from the extension. I changed the definitions to match Quake3World's set of smileys (see here).

Now I was planning to insert smileys for other forums I visit as well, but I didn't want to be bothered hand-editing those XML files, so I started writing this tool to do it for me.

Ahh, cool man. I've gotten pretty comfortable with my little shortcuts, but I may give it a shot. :icon14:
