In addition to the Sparks case, a five-year-old girl was shot and killed by her eight-year-old brother in western Alaska on Tuesday, while a seven-year-old boy shot his sister, nine, in the leg in Auburn, Washington state, on Thursday.

Kentucky state lawmaker Robert Damron, a Democrat, said: "Why single out firearms? Why not talk about all the other things that endanger children, too?"

There simply is not a laughing smiley that's big enough.

I doubt it. There's been at least one of these occurring every month. I thought about making a thread about it this summer to point out the insanity. I guess yesterday's events simply reminded people just how "broken the US" is.

Think of the bright side: it's extremely rare when a sociopath realizes they're a sociopath, so perhaps there is hope for you.

But I really doubt it...as it's pretty much impossible to change someone's personality type.

Where I indicated sad smiley which indicates empathy you're not even content with a normal smiley, it's not "smiley" enough for you to show your lack of empathy. That's sociopathic behavior.

If an adult accidently shot an adult dead would you still blame the gun?

They're not even being sold as toys they're being sold to be used for hunting. ...

Also did you notice the article said a bullet had been left in the gun; seems no-one knew it was loaded; therein lies the error, rather than having the gun at all.
