This was Pug. He was a bit top-heavy while he walked and, ultimately, died of an enlarged scrotum.

Picked him up today. 6 month old boxer/great dane. :)


We also have a 5 or so year old african grey and another small dog. :)

Planning on getting a dog when I move, but don't have time for a big dog that needs to be walked. I know it's best to go to a shelter but I don't think they'll have small dogs there.

They do. The one we got our pup from had quite a few smaller dogs.

pets are ok if that's all you can afford. as long as you don't take a personal day when one of them dies.

The shelters have dogs of all types. We didn't want a large dog or one that had long hair. Turk is 70lbs and has short hair. He's what one might call a plot hound or Kerr. It's always better to adopt from a shelter. So keep checking your locals and you'll surely find the pup for you.
