Meh... I assume this needs line-of-sight or fiber optic cables? That would negate any practical use for the technology.

pretty sure 400Gbit was achieved between US and Italy not so long ago using standard fiber by using some kind of noise cancelling, so the article is slightly misleading by suggesting this is anything other than a wireless record
