Just looked up the first signal: "N" but the second one I'm not so sure...
I'm guessing it's just repeating the phrase up top...and possibly even the timer if they decided to go that slick with it.

The morse code is just the date December 11, 2013 in both European and North American formats, back-to-back.

11-12-13 12-11-13

There has been speculation about the site and all kinds of reasons why it is legit or not legit, and there's new stuff popping up here and there. It's hard to tell what to take as credible evidence. I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed my playthrough of Fallout 3, and a Fallout made post-Skyrim would likely be even better. So I am anticipating the date.
This line only remake is total rubbish I've ever seen!!! Fuck off!!! --CZghost

For me, Fallout 3 is a fantastic game and an epic example of open-world level design, but I found I simply didn't like being in the game's universe. It was too depressing, never welcoming (which means it was obviously well-done) and after a time I found in the later parts of the game I couldn't wait to finish the main storyline just so I could leave that grey shithole behind. It also didn't help that my ghoul companion/mule/bullet-magnet, Charon, sounded exactly like Krusty The Clown....sorta pulled me out of the game.

Skyrim was so vibrant and alive and with such a huge variation of colourful locations I took to it like a fly to shit with a huge smile on my face. Fallout 3 never did that and unless Fallout 4 shows me the improved and coming-alive world I tried to create at the end of Fallout 3, I doubt I'll get excited about radioactive wastelands in the future.

Yeah the engine/game design of fallout doesn't do much to make you feel like the world is alive in anyway.

I somewhat agree with your feelings on F3. I absolutely loved it and enjoyed every minute of it, but I distinctly remember a non-gaming friend coming over to watch me play and he said "Damn this game is depressing..." I thought to myself, he's right. But I still loved it.

Did you not play New Vegas? Thanks to the Las Vegas setting, it was much more vibrant and very welcoming at times. A lot like Skyrim in that way...

Heh... i never thought of it quite that way, interesting. It's probably what kept me from ever finishing it :smirk:

I recall one scene where you're welcomed into the brothel of some psycho pimp who you're clearly supposed to kill, releasing the precious womenfolk he's been abusing or somesuch. I ended up postponing that decision for ages because the house was nicely decorated and felt as warm and safe and cosy as anything i had come across. Hey girls, i just came from outside and your miserable existance of forced sex and boozery is immensely preferable to what's out there for fuck sake. Have you seen the giant scorpions? Jesus!

No other way to do that bit though as far as i could tell, what a bummer.

I never tried it. My brother bought it before they patched it and I couldn't stop laughing at all the bugs he was telling me he was experiencing, so I never bothered. I've heard good things about it, but yeah, it seems like just another wasteland so I probably won't go back.

Hehe. I remember seeing the signs outside his house about "No guns allowed" so I holstered them before entering. I don't remember stealing anything from there, but I read later on that if you went in with guns out, stole anything or did anything to piss anyone off, they all attacked you and paradise would be lost (yet again) as you were forced to kill them all.

My own personal wtf moment was in the big, tall hotel with all the racist snobs living in it. I convinced them to let the ghouls move in and when I visited them later to get supplies, I found that the ghouls had killed everyone in the hotel anyways. I said "fuck this shit" and slaughtered every ghoul in the building. But later on I realized "that was a fucking brilliant twist" for the mission designers to do that and they no doubt wanted to shit down the throat of every gamer who wanted to help that particular situation. :sly:

I did exactly the same thing :) Then realised some were vendors :(

The mission that warps you into a computer simulation pranged me the fuck out, biggest WTF moment since MGS2 started talking to me. I think I started dribbling.

The chinamen invade in a 1960's leave it to beaver-style neighborhood. I think you also murder people and make it look like an accident.

I also thought it was part of the main story, you enter a pod or someshit in a room with other pods, next thing you know your trapped inside a computer world with everyone in the other pods held hostage. That's when shit starts getting fucked up.

If you're watching Voyager, that episode will turn up soon ;)

Yeah...it's a main story mission, so if you play the game through, you'll get to play it. Also, right after that mission (when you escape the pods) you get to escort a massive robot trashing your enemies.

Definitely some memorable moments in that game. Nice place to visit...wouldn't want to live there.

Ahhh yes I remember :D "Democracy is non negotiable" as the thing tears apart the enclave. Epic !

I played New Vegas and even though it was good it didn't have anything like that in it :(

Is that the translation? How'd you come up with that? Any idea what it means?
