Fallout 4 confirmed. Will be set in Boston.
Re: Fallout 4?...hmm maybe
Hmm, I gotta be honest. Boston seems like a bit of a boring location. I'd like to have seen a more rural area. They could have had some really interesting characters (think Trevor in GTAV). They've done big cities in the past. It's time to mix it up...

Honestly I'm pretty much done with the engine and game mechanic bethesda's been whoring now for the last what? 10 years?
I thought fallout 3 was boring, NV, boring, skyrim boring. The only Bethesda game I enjoyed using that engine was Oblivion because it was new at the time.
I'm playing through Dishonored right now though and THAT is pretty interesting and fun.

Oblivion was a clunky pos, especially when compared to Skyrim. Those other games you found boring I enjoyed, apart from Skyrim, but that wasn't a boring world I just don't like the whole dungeons and dragons thing.
It didn't have any GTIs either

I agree but it was first and it was fun for awhile. What I didn't like about fallout was the drab colours throughout the entire game. Yeah I get that's the look they were going for but ultimately for me it just painted the whole game in the same light. I can't really say why or what about it did this but it did.
I also have a dislike of any rpg that levels the creatures in the game along with your own level. I forget the term for this but it kills games as you never get a sense of being powerful once you reach those higher levels.
I'll still play skyrim once in awhile though when I'm sufficiently bored.

I dunno, yeah it's fun to explore the world but I'm just dissapointed in it because I'm not as enthralled in the game as I was with Oblivion. I spent hundreds of hours playing Obliv and a fraction of that in Skyrim.
I've easily put 300 hours or more though in Dark Souls... I'd be surprised if I had 40 hours in Skyrim even though I've created at least 5 characters, I just get bored and start over thinking another class might spice the game up a bit. btw fighter class sucks.
