Indeed. I now remember seeing him in my younger years on the old black & white TV in the late '70's.

I remember seeing that live when I was a kid.
It's equal parts horrible and hilarious, but to be honest, I can't think of a better way for a legendary comedian like Tommy Cooper to go.
He literally had the audience laughing until the very last seconds of his life.
