Thx guys! My first birthday-thread after so many years hanging around here.....so heartwarming and moving 
Indeed it's one of the worst days in the year to have b-day. Everyone is in x-mas-gift-buying-put-up-the-tree-stress instead of getting properly wasted. And you only get gifts once a year. Bad timing.
On the other hand: birthdays are overstated anyway. At least from the thirties on.
I'm off to family today and away from the net for some days, so by now:
