It's crossed my mind. I'll post a pic of it later but somehow ice got inside the driver door right where the door hinges are near the bottom. When I opened the door the ice didn't budge (I didn't know it was there at the time) and it bent the the fucking door out. pissed about that.

Then this morning it was fucking -30C with no wind so it was a dead cold. I started the car up and got like 200 ft and realized the parking brake hadn't fully released. It's like frozen on, it seems to have released now though, I'll just have to make sure I don't pull the handbrake when I park I guess...

Meh... I think that's a bit overpriced for a device that'll be obsolete in 5 years and worth a 10th of it's current price. That's my main problem with most electronics though, the drop in value vs what they do for me don't add up hence why I haven't bought a new PC in over a decade. If it kept it's value or was useful for a bit longer I wouldn't be as opposed to plunking down so much cash on a device.

edit: The exception to the above however is when it helps with your work and you actually make money using the tool.

Every system I've owned since 2004 I've built myself and I didn't build them from parts I bought. I built every system I've owned for free from parts other people like yourself couldn't figure out how to fix when they broke down.
