Youtube is blocked but I've unblocked it for myself. imgur is a bit more tricky cause I can't really say I sometimes need to use it for work reasons whereas youtube has many videos that are useful sometimes.

Krackhaus works in a factory where they still manufacture dial-up modems... in India. :olo:

Lol you were trying to brag about the speed of an internet connection as if it directly rubbed off on our opinion of you, bullshitter.

He ripped the island off another movie (ended up settling out of court for a 7 figure sum). Based on that alone, I think the man is a waste of space.

I'm glad he bombed out, and revealed himself for the vacuous tool he is. Not to mention the fucking curved screen. It's a gimmick, and distorts geometry unless you're sitting dead center.

Cinema screens are slightly curved. Maybe Samsung overdid it, but you are supposed to sit in the centre to watch any screen.

As for Michael Bay bombing out of that presentation; I agree with others in this thread who said it was hardly his fault and no big deal.

As for his directing; I liked Bad Boys 1 & 2 but the fact that he made Transformers so boring shows he is no good and AFAIK I haven't watched any of his other films (I don't always check who the director is). I avoided his remake of Star Trek ...

The Rock was excellent but Transformers undid all his good work

I thought projection screens in theaters are curved because of... umm... projectors. Curved to prevent image distortion due to the distance from a single point of projection.

And if you're saying that it's useful so that each end of the TV is equidistant to your eye, you would need a wall sized screen to get any effect.

FYI, article was tl;dr... but I'm sure it confirms that DTS is a moron.

Err, ok, curved TV's are a stupid idea because in a lot of living rooms, mine included, you aren't always sitting directly in front of the TV.

One of my couches is positioned right in front of the TV and the other in a 90 degree angle next to it. Sitting on that couch places your eyes about a meter left of the left edge of the TV. If my TV was curved, the left side of the TV would be curved away from me. I doubt I'd be the only one with this problem.

You "ain't" posting pics of your car because you don't have one.
Thick, solid and tight in all the right places.
