lol, wut indeed...

I know it's impossible to determine anything from tweets. But he seems like the kind of guy was just fooling around, programming small games, and he hit the jackpot. Never meant to have a super popular game. Now he's overwhelmed and wants out...

lol, and now the app store is flooded with clones:

https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/id80630 ... Id=2049622

Apparently that one charges you £70 cents per 3 lives.

Or this one, which costs £1.50 and you'll need to buy in-game coins in batches of 7 quid.

Or get it done with planes, bees or unicorns (with the awesome title "Flying Flappy Unicorn Bird: The Frozen Sky Fall). Winner is the one featuring poo, though.

Having said that though, Geoff could finally earn some serious money by selling his phone with Flappy Bird installed on it. Check this out.

Social media providing a sturdy platform for the torrential abuse of soulless, vicious little cunters is a very real thing and only getting more prominent. It's one thing to have a bored Lawl on your back, another to have thousands of 'people' spewing psychopathic hate-bile your way, all day, everyday.
I read he got death threats when he announced he would take down Flappy Bird.
Death threats. Seriously. What the fuck, right?
