Where are they now?

Post by Mat Linnett »

Interesting article over on VG24/7 about various id employees and where they are now.

Shame they only touch lightly on the Doom 3 debacle. I also missed Paul, I mean Jennell Jaquays (now at CCP Games), Christian Antkow (now at Oculus VR), Brian Hook (also at Oculus), Jay Wilbur (at Epic Games) and Paul Steed (passed away, unfortunately) in there.

Steed was an amazing modeller and a loss to id at the time, and later the community as a whole.

Interesting enough article; though some of the sentences are a bit long

Who made and animated the :q2: female model? Was that Paul Steed?

Paul/Jennell Jaquays used to be really active here on Q3W and contributed a whole lot to the LEM community.

Didn't he* leave (Q3W) and go to MapCenter when that was set up cause of disagreements in Q3W LEM?

I know MapCenter (or was it "Centre"?) has since gone.

Pretty sure he stopped posting here because he had left id at that point.
