Peaky Blinders

Post by DRuM »

Did anyone watch this epic series? Finished now but absolutely brilliant, and seriously worth downloading. Two seasons, 6 episodes each, starring Cillian Murphy, Sam Neill and Tom Hardy. Based on a ruthless, violent real life gang in Birmingham at the turn of the century who expanded a mafia style business. IRA involvement too. There will be a season 3 next year. Still a few episodes left of season 2 on iplayer.

By the way, the first series got slated for having bad audio mixing and lots of mumbling so you might want the subtitled version :o.

Totally had that problem when I downloaded season 2. Just noticed the second season is available to stream on Netflix

heh, though to be fair you need subtitles for people with strong Birmingham accents even today.
