tl;dr past the first paragraph.

This must be that nerdfight game a video was posted of before. You should play Bushido Blade 2, that has first-person, and you won't like it cause it's too hard. You play the 3rd-person version. Version as in mode.

I was trying to help you, you mug. Keep your nerdrage and verbal diarrhea to yourself.

Edit: Don't double post, Memphis.

Friend of mine bought this for both of us a few months' ago when it was on offer, we played it for 30 minutes and didn't think it was very good .

Does it take a while to get into it?

DM sucks somewhat, as always, as it's cheap-shot to the back city. It did take time to get the movesets and timings down, although I feel I picked it up easier with a few hundred hours of Dark Souls behind me. Like that, it can certainly feel clunky until it clicks, so I can see how folks can bounce off it.

Personally, I find it hilarious. There really isn't anything else with this level of comedic violence, which I find endlessly entertaining and the melee is mechanically sound. Better than any other melee focussed MP game I fancy. Chasing down folks with a Vanguard screaming "COME HERE YOU! I LIKE YOU!" before a screaming leap forwards to claim his legs, or pushing into the pack with the Agatha Knight yelling "FOOOOOORWARDS! ONWARDS BROTHERS!" adds to the stupid fun. Often I'll just throw myself into crowds, seeing how many can be parried as they all hack through each other trying to get me.

All so much more fun than camping on a roof, shooting people who never even see you, at least in my book. Gimmie kicking people off the roof any day.
It's also a rare MP game I can play as well on a pad, as with m/kb. So that's nice.
I think we just jumped on a server, can't remember what game type it was actually. Sounds like I need to give it another go then. Was probably put off by the learning curve heh.

I'm guessing other people can hear you screaming at them, or is it for your own entertainment? :owned:

Wonder if RRROOOAAARRR is out there playing this, he was into all this reenactment stuff wasn't he? Wonder where he is now..
