After a few years without Quake3 the q3 virus has entered again.
I´ve started playing again after showing my nephew of age twelve a few youtube movies of the gameplay and fragging in Quake3 like we used to do in the old days.
The kid only knows modern gameplay,(you know the popular big name-games) so it was a bit of a shock to see the old guy perform rocketjumps,plasmaclimbs en and bunnyhopping/strafjumping on the LAN last week.......(evil laugh
)And not to mention the ¨jeeeez this shit is fast !!!!'' screaming.
I realised : This game is the real shit compared to the new games.
From one thing comes another.........
So now im hosting a small server again...
Running 1v1 tourney CPMA.
Still working on a website for all info on used files,maps etc.
Server is already online now.
Max clients is 3,its not the fastest machine,so map changes take some time,but it works.
Its running Quake3Arena version 1.32 and the loved mod of CPMA ,version 1.48
I´ve added also a few custom maps already for who wants to play different maps than the old q3 & cpm maps were very familiar with.
