I like both Geoff and Sysop. They're probably two the realist people to post on these forums and likely the only current posters I'd entertain a conversation with in real life (Like that matters or I really give a shit). It's also pretty obvious that they're both trolling. Sysop's just a bit more cutting. I also enjoy the "who's got the biggest intercock" contest between the two because it's largely based on reality. But unlike most people here I don't take offense with their braggadocios behavior. I like to see people have success and never thought poorly about openly successful people... That's just my opinion, fuck u.

If you had a swimming pool, you'd spend a decade telling everyone how rich you are, and then you'd go and buy a minivan :olo:

A minivan is the ideal choice for non narcissists who have 6 kids to drive around... So do u just pretend ur bath tub is your swimming pool or something?... :olo: ...

Six kids is an ideal excuse for having a minivan while lying about a mid-six figure income :olo:

If I had to school 7 children, it would set me back about £140k, but it cost you your dignity, self respect and freedom. Now you're 45 and back in college trying to figure out the fastest way to make up for the last 20 years of enforced domestic misery :olo:

Meanwhile, I just booked a table for two at La Gavroche for the 16th. :olo:

Why, you thinking of booking? They'd need the table at Hogwarts the way your wife serves up sprogs. She's like a fucking seahorse :olo:

xer0s wrote:I like you, sys0p. And I like Geoff. But I honestly don't think you understand what's going on here. You've been gone far too long. You come back and see Geoff, bragging it up, and you want to put him in his place. But Geoff is just a long running joke around here. He's evolved into this character. For the most part, Geoff is one of the most truthful guys on here, but his ego is all an act. It's hard to explain, and honestly, I feel like me explaining Geoff actually deflates his internet character...

Can anyone back me up here? Am I way off base?
This is accurate. A place for everyone and everyone in their place.

In before "And your place is in the kitchen, bitch".

'everyone in their place' is a separate clause, so you'll want to pop a comma before and, since you're linking two clauses and not describing a pair.

That's a bit more basic than accidentally mixing up infinitives and definitives from a language I don't type from muscle memory, but since grammar is a big deal for you, I figured you'd want your own to be perfect.

Seeing as how this is a message board, I really don't give a shit. I'm a grammar Nazi, but not for you peons.

But if you want to play the tough guy game, your and gets no comma after it. *golf clap*

Sorry for assuming that if you were going to drop hundreds of dollars on dinner that you would spell the name of the restaurant correctly :olo:

You didn't assume anything, if you'd have done that, you'd have just shrugged and moved on when your assumption was proved incorrect. What happened was that you were offended by my faux-bragging with Geoff, and you needed to take me down a peg or two. Essentially the same thing that xer0s is accusing me of.

Same reason why you enforce masculine stereotypes when you refer to my using your own attack against you as playing a "tough guy game". Either you were being a "tough guy" in the first place, in which case I'm right about you needing to take me down a peg or two, or you're now playing the meek, and I'm right anyway.

Your insecurity makes a hypocrite of you, darlin'.

POW!

I am offended by nothing, my dear. It's cute that you thought so. Wave around all the money that you'd like, your still lurking around this forum with the rest of us. No dinner with the Queen this evening?
