I'm on a huge pumpkin beer kick. Been enjoying Shipyard Pumpkin Head, South Hampton Pumkin, and Dogfish Head Pumpkin. Delicious...

Luckily, the germans are slowly picking up on the craft beer thing.

In some about 3 to 5 restaurants and bars here in dresden you can actually get an IPA.

Really? I would have thought it was prevalent around those parts. IPAs are pretty popular in the states. We're seeing more and more new craft beers every day. Or maybe I'm just becoming aware of it...:paranoid:

IPA is raging popular round these parts. I'm fucking sick of it for the most part, but you can find some nice ones if you look around. Also fuck pumpkin beer. Do you also drink blackberry ale, strawberry beer and maple bacon breakfast stout? :puke:

I went to a local brewery today, got me a nice Brett IPA, some saison, and oat stout. Happy Thanksgiving ya fucks

had a good imperial stout recently - narwhal by some brewery. i don't drink a lot of stouts, but i enjoyed it... despite or because of 10.2% abv.
i'm also mostly over IPAs. goofy trend of over-hopped monstrosities. there are some good ones though - i liked Pygmy Owl by Big Sky.

agree with pext about beer in germany. you can basically choose from lager, dark lager, hefeweizen, dark hefeweizen, and pilsner. maybe kölsch if you're in the right area and a couple others seasonally. granted, they tend to be quite good but without variation from one to the next.

My local supermarket suddenly started selling these:

Very nice indeed! I like how there's suddenly proper beer coming from America these days, all these new microbreweries certainly do good things for the quality. Would drink again.

Where's that beer out of?

I agree, it's great that we have all these delicious beers popping up. But what sucks is the liquor laws are so different from state to state, some beers can't be sold in certain states. It's all fuct up. But what isn't these days...

Drinking this right now. Belgians seem to be my choice lately. I still enjoy some IPAs once in a while. But I didn't go overboard on them when they became popular. Maybe you guys should learn some moderation and you wouldn't get burned out on a particular style. Just sayin'
