Just out of curiosity does anyone believe in the devil or spirits? I would think that if you believe in those you would almost have to believe in a god

If there's no god, no need to fuck him, if there is, why to make friendship worse? :)

I think "god" is just a metaphor for consciousness. So indirectly yes, I think there's a god and that god is me and you.

So you don't believe in god (i.e. you're not convinced that there is one).

But this doesn't mean you believe absolutely that there is no god.

Is that accurate?
What I mean to say is I do not have enough information to fully conclude that God, defined as the entity that brought us into existence, does or does not exist. I have enough information that allows me to not believe in many of the supposed qualities of God that you find in religion (such as the personified God, the vindictive God, the God who meddles in the daily life of people). But, even though I do not believe in that type of God, I do not have enough information to fully disbelieve in other, more abstract and more scientifically compatible versions of God that you find in Spinoza or Einstein.
I think the closest thing to what you're describing would be Agnostic. Not exactly, but close.

I personally believe in neither. And not necessarily, I could theoretically imagine the existence of malignant spirits without the existence of benevolent ones.

If your even open to a different possibility...that by definition means you are agnostic... Got it dipshits?...

Examples... Mother Teresa... Agnostic Christian... Bill Maher... Agnostic atheist...

Was it nice? I mean, all it takes is a little time to browse through some old thread and them post a reply. I suppose it was a nice bump for Geoff though. Seeing as how he doesn't have much time between running the kids to soccer games, doing the dishes, laundry, going to class (as a 50 year old), cleaning the above-ground pool, and washing his wife's blow-hole...
