My new laptop (eat this mac foghats)

Funniest thing is you get the sheep who slag off anything Mac on any BBS anywhere, yet when they seriously start using one they realise what the fuss is about...

Well since we'll inevitably go down the mac vs pc path....

I used a mac for the first time about 5 years ago. It felt quite strange as i've used nothing but windows for ages, and OS9 felt positively basic in comparison. Obviously, the more you use an OS, the more familiar you get, but there was something about it that always pissed me off.

OSX was/is a huge improvement, and is definately more intuitive to use. But I dunno... I still prefer using the PC to design, and always recommend a PC to those who are considering getting a new computer :shrug:

Despite what others would have you believe, a mac isn't essential to the creative, and apart from the ease-of-use, and slightly better color-matching capabilities, I don't think a mac offers anything that the PC can't already do (and the PC equivalant is normally cheaper and faster).

And yes, I use both G5 macs and PC based computers every day.

Well I like it Brisk and that's all that matters. Looks much better than most other faggy laptops I have seen.
