Eh? No. The message comes up because you received some info from the server which is out of date. Its your game that determines it's out of date.

The reason it's out of date is because your connection fucked up somewhere.

have u tried connecting directly to net without router/firewall? might be worth a try just to eliminate possibilities.

Also, did you try the trace route investigation that I suggested?

yeah, i've eliminated my router and my modem. it's most certainly my ISP who's coming on Tuesday to take a peek. tracrt didn't bring much of anything, but some broadbandreports.com tests helped show dropped packets.
