It's a direct response to the radical thinking that caused the crusades.

Too bad it never changed back.
you're on to something here and you'll find that the West's intervention in the region mirror's this today.

We've been in their countries fucking with them for hundred's of years.

Do people like Riffraff and busetibi know that Iran had a democratically elected government several decades ago until the USA imposed the Shah as leader?

your interest in history seems selective somehow. perhaps in the future you should refrain from trying to evaluate situations and events which really need a fuller perspective to be properly understood.

Good luck to those in Europe who will be wearing rags on their heads and praying five times a day to Allah in order to keep their heads on their shoulders.

PS. America's offensive against terrorism didn't create this. Radical Islam's agenda wasn't any different during the enabling Clinton era.
Tell me... Aside from the attacks directly after the invasion of Iraq, how many times in recent history have fundamentalist Muslims tried to force Europeans to adopt their way of life?

edit: I'm talking specifically about offensive attacks here, not shit like the 21st century comic riots.

How were those attacks an attempt to force europeans to adopt their way of life?

They weren't, but I don't doubt that they could be construed that way by certain tireless warriors so I wanted to get them out of the way.

I'm pulling this out of my ass on a whim, but I'd say Europe faces the same kind of "threat" (a loaded term that needs a clear definition) that the US faces from Latin American immigration. The only real threat in both instances is uncertainty caused by xenophobia, not the immigrants.

I believe it also has something to do with the threat of economic colonization that comes from places like China and India (which we bring on ourselves, thanks Walmart). The scene where the skinheads attack the Korean (i think) store in American History X and Ice Cube's lyrics about black Korea illustrate this pretty well.
