Was at a BBQ earlier then out for a few drinks. Got back in now absolutely exhausted and gonna hit the sack shortly.

Tomorrow i'm gonna write my CV properly, prepare my portfolio and then apply for a job I found yesterday.

The wife is out of town from today until Tuesday.

I think I'm going to have a geek weekend here and watch the original Star Wars trilogy with the surround cranked up. My back has been fucked since last week when I tweaked it getting the lawnmower out of the car and I need an excuse to take a couple days of solid rest. Will probably try the lord of the rings online, since I got a copy of it here. Never been able to keep my interest in an MMORPG longer than a couple days, maybe this one will be different, but probably not.

Don't have anything special planned, probably looking for more jobs. I'll go down to the police station on Monday and grab a criminal record sheet so I can volunteer somewhere.

Slept in Saturday morning, then just spent the rest of the day doing nothing, sufring the web, reading my book, drinking coffee. Then my gf came home and we showered and made ourselves ready to go out. Headed out and had a couple of drinks in the sun, then headed down to the Thaiboat restaurant and had some dinner and Singha beers. All in all a very relaxing day.

Today the weather is a bit grey, so I'll probably stay inside, reading or playing some games.

I just got fresh bottles of Four Roses single barrel, Suntory Yamazaki single malt, Laphroig 10yr and Laphroig cask strength - so I will spend most of the weekend drinking whisky and working out who are the kings of whisky, Japanese, American or Scottish.

That's it, shun those who care about you.

It's time to get help for this problem. I will stand by you.

Friday: Kicked out of work a little early, went home, took a shower and went to the monthly street festival down town. Got home around 12:30am, after a few bar stops.

Saturday: Got up around 8:30am and took my son to breakfast. After breakfast we went to a friends to help him lay out and install the concrete footers for the pool deck we're building, as my son played with his kid in the pool. Left there, dropped my son off at home and went to another friend's house to help him figure out what he needed to supply electric to his pool that he's having built. Afterwards, I came home and showered while the wife dropped my son off with my mother. Then the wife and I packed up an overnight bag and headed down to West Palm Beach to see Earthquake at the Improv and a stay at the Marriot.

Sunday: Came home, did some laundry and worked in the yard. The wife cooked up some lobster, shrimp and steak for dinner to cap off the weekend in a great way.

Good stuff...

Did some work outside the house today, installing an outdoor light on the patio and doing some wiring work through the garage. I think I'll just relax with some games tonight.
