Yeah so (the obligatory weekend thread)

Post by Nightshade »

Moose just dropped his rawhide chew toy in my wife's first cup of coffee. :olo: Just walked up and plopped the fucker in her mug like it was a donut.
I have to go get rid of a tv today, mow the yard, and make an attempt to get more shite out of my garage. No dojo time this weekend, I have a strained neck muscle (goddamn triangle chokes), but I do believe I'll go for a nice long run.

Und du?

Mir? My weekend is kind of already accomplished as I boned someone I wanted to last night... *adopts cockney accent* laaaaavely :D

That said, might go buy a nice new shirt with the small amount of tax I got back, and then I'm gonna hit the (shitty little) town tonight and tomorrow and drink a bit too much :)

I had a weekend of chilling out with my gf planned, but suddenly one of her close relatives is in the hospital in critical condition, awaiting a lung transplant. As i understand it, the poor boy's life is hanging by a thread.

Naturally she'll want to stay with him... drinking cheap coffee and awaiting docters results and generally working herself into one of those states of complete mental breakdown... at which point she'll probably call me up in tears and tell me sixty five Tales of Extreme Drama.

So it looks like i'll have to entertain myself until that happens, for she does not want me near the hospital and her idiotic family. She's a bit weird like that.

In any case: shit.

I'll have to work. :icon33: Drafting a pile of plans and schemes for our carpenters, who build up my first all-of-my-own-planned house from wednesday on. Gonna shit my pants like never before if one of the prefabricated wall elements will not fit...27 pieces of "Lego"....argh.

The problem is you didn't put the direct link to the images in there...you had php addresses that open up up the image.

Maybe go gold panning and let the dogs splash around, then come home and BBQ a tri-tip roast.

Got up around 9 am (central standard US time), played 18 holes of golf with some local guy, now 3:30 pm.

Probably watch a movie, play a little CS, and read for the rest of the day. A pretty standard weekend here, although I haven't played as much golf as I have desired to. And I won't mention my score :p

i've got a few things that need to be done but don't really have an order or time planned out to do them. i've gotta do some financial work for a family friend, work on an outside lounge/firepit area we're building in my backyard and possibly transfer one of my friend's dad's 8-track collection to CDs.

other than that i'll most likely be doing the usual drink and play games with friends in the evenings.

I need to buy a fake owl to try and keep the squirrels out of my front yard. If that doesn't work, I'll go with a cheap little pellet gun that fires rubber bb's or something that won't kill, just sting enough to make them learn not to come around. Then I'll sit on a rocking chair on the patio and shoot me some varmints.

Not sure what I'm doing tomorrow now. I've got a game plan for next week all lined up but my VPN access is down so I can't work.

Sometime mid-week I'm getting a cheap KVM so I can finally start using my desktop PC again. As it stands I have to reconnect all my wires if I want to use it, lamed.

In other words a dullllll weekend spend nerding out.
