The 'everyone else probably does it' line doesn't hold any water here - everyone doesn't rip people off, believe it or not. But if thinking that over and over again makes you feel better about admitting that you have the capacity to be a self-admitted complete and total prick to someone (even if it is to a WoW player willing to pay that much for a character) then more power to you. The fact that you're proud of it is what gets me. I thought better of you.

The fact that you know others who do this or have had it done to them doesn't make it any better. I don't even understand what your line of reasoning is there to be honest. Regardless of when the car incidents happened all it is is just desserts and you deserve every bit of it.

And make up imaginary accusations about torrenting things all you want but (and I know I'm in the minority here) I don't torrent anything really. Also there's a big diff between ripping off joe shit the ragman with a minimum wage paying job and Rupert Murdoch.

He's just justifying his need to be right to himself by that statement. Because if he didn't then his actions would be unjust and wrong. With this excuse he doesn't have to feel bad that he possibly made this guy homeless so he could buy some more PC games.

I was going to say "QQ" but I knew no one would get it. The reason being that absolutely nothing can be said by me that won't be further disassembled, nit-picked, and turned right back on me. I posted something the community disagreed with and that is a battle that can't be won. You guys are very talented stone throwers. But the truth of the matter is it's not even battle. Want something intelligent? Even when you already know the truth, having it pointed out still hurts. Deep down, I really am a heartless asshole. This is one of many ugly decisions I've made and hid behind a caring surface. My ethics and morals revolve around myself and those closest to me. I can admit it. I can live with it.

At least you admit you have no morals or ethics when it comes to someone you don't know and have them with the people you do know (which I am sure is circumstantial as well). The thing is, the only thing this says about you is that you are totally self-absorbed.

I now regret having felt sympathy for you when your car was broken into, bitWISE.
