Yeah, I'd say that's pretty much self-defense. It would be a different story if Bonerduce started wailing on the moron while he was laying on the stage, but I can't see the police going forward with charges for lil' Danny Partridge just throwing the idiot off of him.

my logic was that sinse danny has been in many fights , trained as a fighter, and has been payed to fight so he knows the danger of injury throwing someone off on thier head like that.
plus he coulda just let him down rightside up , i mean hey he grabbed and held the guys thighs in grindposition
for example if it was a boxing match or a baseball game sports, there would be a consequence of some kind i would think. for trying to bust someones neck ey.
but on stage at an award show its all clear
i guess its opens up alot new potencial for comedy live-tv tho
