My grandmother always called them jabeƱeros, but they look just like the thai peppers halfway down this page. if yer gonna grow peppers, this page may become useful to you.

Decided now is as good a time as any to get an actual garden started instead of having just a bunch of potted plants around the house.
I didn't think about the fact that all of my land is a steep hill. Or that the only plantable patch of land is the furthest from any water source (and much too far to get a hose to).
It seems like this one pepper plant turned into some damn landscaping project.
I need to build terraced steps so my plants dont go sliding down the hill and then I need to build an aqueduct to a small pond I'm planning on constructing sometime later in the year to have a nearby water source for the garden.

Yes, I saw that at the site I posted. It's a terrible thing when you find out Gramma's been lying to you your whole life.

Those little red ones are still great on burgers.

90% of the pequin pepper seeds have sprouted as of day before yesterday.
They're getting big fast and are almost ready to be plopped into some potting soil.
I have a lot of chefs in the family that love using peppers in their dishes. I think these plants will cover Christmas this year. Best thing is, didn't cost a thing.
