Peppers
Trying to figure out what these damn things are. I've found similar ones on the google but nothing seems to nail the description of this thing 100%.
Regardless, I've dried a few out and planted the seeds. Hoping to get a few of the plants in my backyard this year. These little guys pack a nasty punch and have left blisters on my friend's lips.
If they're anything like the similar peppers though then there is really no reason for blistered lips at all.

I thought that maybe a forum of gamers would know better about what kind of pepper these are than the gardener at the local garden store.
Prove me right.

Re: Peppers
you're talking about burying seeds, and in your paper you are writing you've inked "he'll bury", what is this really about? or did you do that on purpose?

That's an accident. The paper is just something I'm writing that I need to turn in tomorrow.
I really should have washed my hands before taking a piss.

Re: Peppers
aren't those just chilly peppers? I think I've used them when making thai dishes. They're also called piri-piri (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piri_piri)

Re: Peppers
Perhaps they are.
The plant they're from is roughly 4 feet tall and the pepper length matches the description in the link.
Well you've got me closer to their identity than anybody so far. I'm going to verify this at the garden store later.

Re: Peppers
They're fucking jabeñeros. They are good on hamburgers.

They were popular when I was young and yes we had a few bushes of the devils. Hot, no very hot but very tasty if used with care

Believe it or not, my Mum used to make jam, yes Chili jam out of 'em. Very nice stuff indeed

Thanks Mum

Re: Peppers
Speaking of hot stuff, I made myself a chicken curry last night with about half a bottle of Scotch Bonnet in it...
Fuck me was it nice, but I was on fire...

Re: Peppers
I have a habit of making chili that no one else will ever eat because they're too damn hot. I always put in a bunch of chili powder, taste, figure it's not hot enough and dump a bunch more in, repeat. But I guess the flavour comes out more when you cook it so after a few hours of simmering, everyone ends up running toward the sink or fridge for water. I'm always afraid of making chili that's not hot enough so it's a hard habit to break.

Re: Peppers
well ive got these guys strung up and hanging in a sunny window to dry the rest of them out.
Talking with some people today reveals that they're just a breed of pequin pepper.
Once I make a special trip back to the parent plant to get some plant-specific details I can finally know what the hell I'm trying to grow.
In other pepper-related news:
Since I've got a wild hair up my ass and went on this gardening kick I decided I might try growing other types of peppers. I have seeds for Anaheim chilies, Jalapenos, and Serranos lined up for planting tonight.
