They are like Cavemen and you are trying to explain to them that they breathe what is called oxygen. Now on the other hand you have people of the same caliber that only believe in God and not Evolution.

So, what do we have?

2 groups of mentally limited parties fighting for the truth.

When the Truth is what both believe. There was a Creation of base properties and there was an evolution of that base creation.

It takes real superior intelligence to be able to embrace both. ;)
Retard.

Most people who are atheist (or agnostic) don't believe in God because they think the chances of one existing are low and because the evidence points towards that conclusion. It's not always about proof, but what seems plausible or implausible.

Did you not notice the word "probably" in the ad?
Nice to see you again too.

Yes I did. Now my statement was just one of awakening of thought. Just think about what I said regardless of the article. I know it would make a person want to DIE thinking that a Legion of Thane a clear statement to be pondered. Put it aside and think for a minute, we can sit down with a six pack of beer and discuss it :olo:

Also Seza, read my post why is your mind so bright one moment then you get stupid. I believe in BOTH. Now I digress...

There was no Big bang, bullshit stupid theory. A supreme Intelligence created the universe (Creationism), then his creations Evolved (evolution). DO YOU understand?

LOL on the teeth, nice photoshop. But it lets me know that I was not Lying. I am Eternal

it's how most religious people sound so sure of their thoughts that always gets me. there WAS a supreme creator. it DEFINITELY created the universe and earth and all within it. i KNOW this to be true because.......well, i have faith.

i would love to be able to believe in things like religion. how easy and convenient that would be. it'd be way more comforting to live too. not have to really worry about anything because ol' grandma and grandpa, ma and pa, even my dog from when i was 5 will be "there" when i die. i'll have everything i could ever imagine. life goes on after death. i'm SURE it does.

One thing I read recently was the concept of "partitioned Heaven". I'll paraphrase but basically what the guy said was this:

"Something about Heaven puzzles me with it's concept of happiness and perfection. What happens when - during a person's life - they suffer brain damage and lose the ability to talk, walk or control their bowels? What happens when sections of a person's brain ceases to function such as with ALS or other ailments?

Do those parts of the brain wait in limbo for the rest of the person's life, until after death when they're re-integrated into the person's brain in heaven and they can magically walk again? Do those parts of the brain know they're in Heaven?"

I can tell you about what I believe about your scenario. Subconscious is what the creator is interested in. When you dream, what do you dream of, where is your souls clarity. This defines who we are in the conscious life.
For example, I can defeat a nightmare. I have been in a dream, realized it was a dream and took advantage of it. I talked to many people and they tell me its impossible. I cant believe everyone cant do it. I have turned on attackers and became the killer, I have enjoyed a situation with women when it seemed I was in the real world and took pleasure!

This tells me that power of the subconscious is power of understanding. So if you are handicapp and are evil in your mind you are damned...if you are acceptance then you are not.

If you can take control of your dreams and nightmares...you are like me, we are special!

lucid dreams now :olo: quakethane should have continued his community college night courses...

and did you just admit to ejaculating from a dream? i always thought that was just some kind of urban legend used to make quick humor in movies. surely nobody has ever been that sex deprived for something like a sleeping gravy burst with only mind stimulation to exist? wait, wait...i forget the company i'm keeping by talking to most people on this internets bulletin board forum. :olo:

Spurious argument. There's no basis for assuming that a physical injury should have any effect on the soul

pointing out logical flaws has nothing to do with belief. Also, why should having a soul depend on self-awareness? Another completely spurious argument

I'm an atheist. It's reassuring to think that you're still at the stage of your emotional development where you think that banging on obsessively about my opinions on an unrelated topic is an effective argument

my ass. The religious definitions build in turn upon other abstracts until you work your way up to the big nonsense itself, the deity. Can't build anything to be concrete if the foundation is mist.

"i am aethist" doesn't answer the question. trying to guess where someone's thoughts are going is such an amateur response. book smartsess :olo:
