lol that was like watching Liverpool play Swansea (or Stoke) this season, plenty of chances against a very well organised defence, Dutch were unlucky but Denmark tracked pretty much every ball back, keeping their shape and staying compact, they wouldve lost on another day and even though they let a few balls in behind the defence I thought that was an excellent defensive display, just a shame its left Holland in a bit of a predicament for the group but they *should* be ok, remember Spain lost against the Swiss ? in the world cup

, could be the kick in the arse they need.
Germans and Portugals now, hope Portugal get tumped, their brand of football is boring as fuck

wow, netherlands losing their opening game. that was unexpected, and could probably have been avoided with a few filthy tackles the ref chooses not to see
or an arrow to the knee

And a hands ball in the Danish 16th the referee ignored. Should've been a penalty. But oh well.

did you mean 'a hand ball by the Danish #16'?
whatever - it makes up for the appalling fouls committed by dutch players in south africa

You hang on to that grudge mate. Who knows, one day we might see those bitter tears roll down your cheeks.

I think the Spanish are the last to hold a grudge, considering they won.
But for some reason, two years later you still feel the need to point out that the Dutch team made some hard fouls in the finals that "we" got away with. That must have hurt you deep down inside somewhere. I dunno, you're a moron either way.

Maybe it's just one incident from one match and they're using that to get the whole interwebs abuzz with talk of "omg the Oranje has gone shit". Perfect way to start a viral promotion of your new Eurotitle.
I've always liked the stuff Oranje has done and I'm sure they'll continue to please. So I don't think we'll get an European Championship that's full with stuff like this.

I'm Welsh and it doesn't bother me, but the ref had a shocker in that match. He gave the French everything and robbed the English of so many decisions it's untrue.
It displeases me when any ref shows signs of biased, but when it's this blatant it gets right on my tits. Made all the worse by it being the French that are profiting!!

only caught 1st half but england didn't look particularly impressive. great header from lescott, but the usual story of giving away possession too easily
group stage exit is looking likely after all
