Like i said, the other day, Quake 4 wasn't looking to bad, but look it looks a joke compared to Killzone 2... If that movie of killzone WAS ingame then i think the shit in my pants is deserved.

O'dium you fucking knob. That killzone video is of a game not to be released until late 2006 maybe 2007. Quake IV will probably be released this year.

Quake IV is still tied to the people who own a GeForce 4. The lowest denominator determines the visuals they can crunch out of an engine.

It's like "omfg have you seen how much better unreal tournament 2007 looks than Wolfenstein 3D?! omg omg, id software SUCKS!"

BTW, id could of EASILY called that game "Army men of the future" and ditched everything past game related.

I guess they are worried a new name wont sell.

goddamn o'dium, for a while you actually managed to make sense in your posts, but it's gone all downhill again. I agree, Killzone looks great, but that single screenshot of ET looks good too, and compared to its nearest competitor (Battlefield 2 IMO) it looks brilliant.

Last time I checked something looking "shit" means that it's not an impressive display of graphical achievements. In fact, something that looks "shit" looks far worse than that, one could say it's an underachievement.

In the case of Quake IV and this new game, I think it's safe to say it is quite an achievement of id Software. To this day, with the possible exception of Half-Life 2, no single game has been released that matches Doom 3's graphics and artwork. The same can be expected from Quake IV (and part of it has been proven in the screenshots released so far).

So a statement about Quake IV being graphically "shit" is highly exaggerated and to be honest, comes quite close, if not coming even all the way there, to trolling.
