Euro footy 2012
Re: Euro footy 2012
jesus, i was expecting more from italy, but they're getting comprehensively schooled here
Re: Euro footy 2012
Looks like they are going to turn up the cheating.
Re: Euro footy 2012
that pass for the headshot was so fucking strong and precise! there's nothing you can do about plays like that, just marvel at the level of skill.
Re: Euro footy 2012
Nice streak for Spain. Euro 2008, world cup 2010 and now Euro 2012. Someone stop this Spanish inquisition

Re: Euro footy 2012

Re: Euro footy 2012
the only european championship game ever to do that
Re: Euro footy 2012
fucking lol side-back flick goal attempt.
Re: Euro footy 2012
I was in a small town inland spain when they won in 2008. shit went wild.seremtan wrote:holy fucking shit 4-0

Re: Euro footy 2012
so - 4-6-0 the new 4-4-2?

Re: Euro footy 2012
is that what it was? honestly, they had no weak spots. awesome defense , crazy passing ability, strong front. They just looked like they had 2-3 extra players on the field. When it starts feeling like that, you know you've been outclassed.
Re: Euro footy 2012
my favorite part was Balotelli (sp?) storming off like a toddler who lost his lolly at the end. what a total prick that guy must be.

The bloke is an enigma...arsehole one minute, geniuse the next. Always entertaining though
Re: Euro footy 2012
Jesus, Spain is so incredibly good that it's annoying, fucking ninja's the lot of them. Don't think any other team could have beaten Italy... but the difference in quality with Spain was still really big.
Yeah, absolutely amazing goal. Prettiest one in the tourny i reckon.Tsakali wrote:that pass for the headshot was so fucking strong and precise! there's nothing you can do about plays like that, just marvel at the level of skill.

Re: Euro footy 2012
Anyway, i propose that in order to apply for emergency funding from the EU to aid their hopelessly screwed economy, Spain should be forced sell their players to other countries.

Re: Euro footy 2012
Italy simply didn't turn up for the match, plus they ended up with 10 players. But they drew 1-1 with spain in the first round, so they're obviously capable of playing a lot better than last night.
Re: Euro footy 2012
Oh bollocks. When Spain decides to really go for it, they simply don't allow the other team to play football. Italy is excellent, really, they are - it's just that Spain is even better than that.
The reason Pirlo was not his usual dominating self? Every other pass was intercepted by a pair of Spanish vultures that kept circling him / anticipating where the pass was going to land. The reason Bolatelli was invisible? The ball never reached him. Etc etc.
