Don't they make up another 5%? I was always tought that approximately 10% of any given population was gay, but i could be wrong. I'm often wrong when it comes to numbers you know.

Ummm... okay, both of you are math/logic fail! Lesbians aren't women? 50% accounts for all women, straight or lesbian. Adding on 5% gay men = 55% + 2 for the black dongs stuck too far down the ears of both of you.
