Since we're all bringing out our e-penises, a buddy of mine went over the top and implemented a managed 1.2TB RAID-5 array with a auto-switching hot spare in a 4U rackmount last summer.

:o! I'm still working with an 80GB drive and, for the most part, its enough.

I guess it's because I'm kind of lazy. I like to have a lot of HD space to save shit. Yes, shit. I should really get in the habbit of backing of this stuff before HD failure. But when your drives are no older than 2 years you don't expect to have problems. Oh well... Lesson learned.

BTW, a buddy of mine built a machine with 1.4TB of HD storage. He's got this digital camera system with 8 cameras that records his home and stores the footage to HD. He had his tools stolen out of his work van, sitting in his drive way. Because of that, he went out and bought all this gear to record his property.

(3) Cold cathode fan lights

I know that's a lot of shit, but it's been running fine for over 6 months. Though I'm almost positive that the problems I was having for about a week before I changed my mobo and CPU was caused by a hard drive(s).
although I think most 550watt psu's are only rated for 550 Peak... and somewhere around 530 sustained.
according to this + some guessing on the two 6800's; your running about 505watts of stuff..
so you should be fine.

oh, but if you're really curious about your power load: try this link: http://www.extreme.outervision.com/index.jsp

its a much better calculator, even does calculations for overclocking. + it has provisions for SLI video cards.
not knowing exactly what you have though... you'd be better off looking into it yourself.
