The gf hosted a baby shower this weekend for a friend of ours.

So I had to patch/paint some drywall, hang some pictures and a lot of tacky shit, help clean up.... then get as far away as I possibly could before 2:00 pm Saturday. I made it around 20 miles and had some hot wings and beers with a buddy. His wife was at the shower too so we had a free pass.

Also, I dropped Metzger off at his house before we went out. It was hilarious to see the way their rescued male Westie reacted to a 110-lb Rottie in his yard. He was scratching and marking like crazy, I felt kinda sorry for the poor little guy.

Went out to dinner that evening then came back home.

Friday night two other friends came to the house w/ their misses to help with the girlie stuff, so I hung out with a couple buddies at the house and had one too many beers.

So Sunday I did a whole lot of nothing. I played most of the way through the original Ninja Gaiden, about halfway through the original Zelda, played some Contra III (Super NES style), some Punch Out and Mario 64. Man I love not having to go to the hassle of emulating all those kick ass games on my PC anymore. The biggest hassle I have to go through now is keeping my dog from laying across the couch with his head in my lap while I'm trying to play. >=\
