Semen apparently doesn't know that fracking is also a highly controversial and growing industry in the United States.

look at the numbers on that site and see how things work in reality.
The question was how can it be done. I show you, then you want to dispute the number in existence. Insatiable dicks. And I think we've all acknowledged the idea that the U.S. couldn't become the sole provider of natural gas if Russia is sanctioned.

Yeah but it's hard to argue that can't be a viable way to export a resource since it's been used now for ages. How do you think that Iraq oil gets to America? If it can be shipped our way I'm sure we can figure out a way to ship it over the pond.

We've cut back on power stations that use oil for those reasons, it's expensive if you can't produce it locally, if gas becomes that expensive then no one would use it.

Call YourGrandpa crazy, but there's an item on the most respectable Dutch news broadcast that highlights some of the issues YGP mentioned in relation to Russia as gas supplier. It talked of how 2 years ago, a huge terminal was built in the Rotterdam harbor meant for transferring (liquidized) gas from those big LNG ships into storage silos, ready to be transferred towards other parts of The Netherlands and Europe. It cost almost 2 billion to make. The idea was to become less dependant on Russian gas. Main suppliers for gas in the LNG terminal here are Algeria, Norway and Nigeria though, nowhere the US is mentioned as possible supplier. Russia sells 75 billion dollar worth of gas to Europe each year.

love how people are still talking about the 'revolution' in Ukraine like it was overthrowing a dictatorship. Yanukovych was democratically elected, fuck-knuckles; you overthrew the guy you elected, thereby instantly voiding your membership of the democracy club - like those bell-ends in Egypt
