For some reason, I don't have total faith in your ability to work out the MPG - when it comes to fitting a smoke alarm, I would agree that you are the man, but when it comes to something involving figures, I think I will put my trust somewhere else.

To be honest, I dont care if you drive something that gets 1 mpg, I just think Hummers are fucking shitty cars (unless you are planning on using it for a military assault), that show a total lack of taste, you might as well put neon lights underneath, get some big chrome wheels and paint it the same puke colour as your infamous PC.

Let me help you with this.
#1 The H3 is advertised with a highway MPG of 20 to 22. My H3 is driven, most of the time, on the highway. When I divide the gallons of fuel purchased into the miles traveled since last fill-up, I get 23. Now wether you want to believe it or not is up to you.

#2 The H3 has a 5 cyl engine designed to improve fuel efficiency of the 2007 model. Most full size sedans have 6 or 8 cyl engines.

#3 My wife liked the H3, she picked it out and she drives it every day. I have the money, so I bought it for her. If that makes me a tough guy, so be it.

its nice that gramps can buy his wife the car that she wants, the Hummer he got is only a 5cyl and apart from rollover tests, it does seem pretty safe, I would hope that if he bought that for his wife, he has something tasty to drive himself, I am selfish, I would never buy my gf/wife something nice and drive a piece of shit myself.
