Well, as much as I would love to bore you with details on things, I lifted that info straight from IGN. Hence why I never said it was a fact.

BTW, if you want a good rimming, just ask, its ok bro.

No, being a game dev I have indepth coverage to every other game out there, and can easily pick up info on any game I want, even stuff thats not been released to the public.

Or, you know, I could just read online.

Hate? On the internet? Well, I think Jackal has some kind of dislike for me, but if he really "hates" me then I guess its time to ask what kind of a life he has to "hate" somebody on the internet.

Then again, maybe you are just looking a tiny bit to much into things.

I watched one minute of that stream yesterday. It looks pretty.
And if that guy had been playing for 6 hours like people claimed in the chat channel, he sure sucked.

i'm going ps3 on this one. from talking around the internet it's told me that the ps3 has a smoother and more consistant FPS and actually looks truer to the rockstar vision than the 360 version.

and i don't understand what the big fuss is over an install for a game. if it improves performance then i'm all for it. it's not like the ps3 is short on storage space like the 360. also, if you're too ADD retarded to sit through a short install then you need to step your ass outside for some fresh air.

Well, i think the point is that games are supposed to be very much plug and play, i.e. you stick the disk in, you play.

You may not see it being a problem now. But what do you do when your HDD is full? ;)

Luckily, I couln't give two shits about anything on PS3 other than Uncharted. That game fucking rocked, and it didn't need an install.

10/10 on ign with a 7 page review. say its the best game since ocarina of time.

This is the only game I've ever pre-ordered in my life, wonder if it will be one that I actually had to pre-order to get on the release date. I've never had a problem getting any game the day it came out without doing that.

No, a friend who works at MS sent me a free copy of it. I wouldn't have paid for that particular game - just not as impressed by it as everyone else was. But they had it at the video store down the street the day it came out, although I am sure many of the big stores sold out since people were lined up to buy it.

I was going to take the day off for GTA IV since I have some vacation time I need to burn, but I have a damn meeting I can't miss (defending my proposed revamping of the curriculum used by the entire district's schools - its the tentative choice now and if it get accepted a couple thousand students will be using a science curriculum set up by me...hopefully it will because we need some major changes).

Heh. That didn't take long. I wonder how many other 10/10 scores the game will get? Hopefully those scores are genuine and not just another reviewer jumping on the bandwagon...which can sometimes do a great disservice to the games industry.

The video preview looked pretty cool. I was very impressed with the detail of the interiors without any load time like in previous GTA games when you went from outside to inside and verse visa. Very seemless and will probably go a very long way to making Liberty City that much more believable. Plus the multilplayer aspect seems very nice...but I'm wondering if any players will spend alot of the match simply driving around looking for the other players.

I also like that they've added a taxi system that will actually drive you around so you can see the city. I wanted to do that for TOD but Deadline's code base for that game wasn't all that robust...to say the least.

Even the thought of taking time off for a video game release makes me question the moral fiber of today's professional.

FFS. :disgust:
