Asking for predictions and what people think based on what they've seen so far. You shouldn't let questions make you so upset.EtUL wrote:What a stupid unanswerable question.

Re: GTA IV
GTA 4 will get all the press and a million fan boys will defend it to the death and talk about how great it is to anyone within view. Of course might suck, but that won't change the fact that it'll somehow live up to massive expectations.

San Andreas was rubbish. GTA3 and Vice City were great but I'm not actually sure I can be bothered to go through the whole thing againBig Kahuna Burger wrote:it better. their tv ads have miles davis playing in them, it has to be good na mean. shit they could release San Andreas again and i'd love it.

Re: GTA IV
Too bad their not releasing it for the PC. Now I have to get a PS3 if I want to play this game.

Re: GTA IV
If they add more things to do in this edition that the previous edition, and leave things wide open to free style play, it'll be great.
If they get bogged down in a storyline and progressive missions and ignore the sandbox stuff, it'll be bad.

Re: GTA IV
I'm hoping it lives up and beats the shit out of them, ala GTA3.
I'm not hoping for GTA:SA, because that game was a big bag of shite.

Re: GTA IV
The only good thing about San andreas was the ability to beat someone up with a gigantic dildo. They seriously need to leave out that dating game crap though, otherwise might as well ship with a "lonely virgins only" sticker
Re: GTA IV
Car mods, hydraulics, planes, artics, swimming, bikes, gang members, climbing and the monster truck all made it for me.
Re: GTA IV
probably. they removed the rpg style shit from san andreas which is great imo.
a propos, i lolled at the 'warm coffee' achievement. sorry geebs, dating is still in/

Re: GTA IV
What do you all think about the "driving drunk" aspect of the game, think it's actually a mini game...
From what I've read and watched about this game it looks like this feature is going to get a lot of scrutiny and what not once little timmy starts playing the game and someone finds out.
I've heard some decent points on it, though not really strong enough to make me believe it shouldn't be in the game... but, is it any worse than things in previous version in your opinion?

Re: GTA IV
I doubt it'll be "worse" than other games in that aspect. I like the idea of driving drunk as a minigame.
Re: GTA IV
about the multiplayer - has there been much information about how it will be implemented? co-op missions, deathmatches, bunches of gametypes, etc?
And regarding Foo's post - I think the storylines are a big part of what have made the games great. Are you suggesting less story development or just that they make sure that you always have the option of following the main plot missions OR doing sandbox stuff/side missions whenever you want?
